"The Jeremiah Culp House"

An Iconic Civil War Landmark: A Culp Family Property Turned Confederate Battlefield Hospital Overflowing with History!"

We feel deeply privileged to have left our mark on this remarkable historic property. Although it had remained within the Culp Family for generations, by the time we assumed ownership, it had transitioned into a long-term rental property. Regrettably, the home had endured years of neglect, leading to the loss or concealment of many of its original historical features.

Upon our first encounter with the property, we immediately recognized its potential and were filled with enthusiasm to restore its former glory. Our unwavering dedication led us to revive and modernize the property, meticulously uncovering and revitalizing its original components. This included the restoration of hardwood floors dating back to 1795, the preservation of lathe and plaster walls, rejuvenating original fireplaces, moldings, windows, and more.

Our mission was to not only honor the historical elements but also seamlessly integrate contemporary conveniences and amenities. Balancing modern design with period style presented its challenges, yet we are proud to say we feel we rose to the occasion. We are elated to have successfully resurrected this exceptional property, paying tribute to its rich history and the family who once called it home during those historic times.
